“ My son eat here all the time I take him he is a huge fan of African food any kind of African food LOL he likes it all but this by far is his favorite place to go and this is where I take him to get his fix he have tried other places but this is his go to and he feels as if this is the best I dont partake in the meals however the atmosphere is amazing as soon as you walk in the music is playing and you can just feel it in your spirit it seems the more that I go the more they get a little more comfortable with me but I think its just the culture is different so we dont really Vibe on that part but I love the music and it smells good though ”

“ This is the third time the cashier lady has been very rude to me. I was there today Wednesday 06152022. She acts like she does not want to be there. She talked to me as if I have no common sense. Im a doctor by profession. So, just because I like to look and keep it simple does not mean Im dumb, broke, and with no common sense. They prejudge people... after they rang my items, they had the nerves to ask me if I was using cash or EBT.... Like really? Why are we Africans always looking down on each other? I just stayed calm, and payed for my stuff. Ignorance they say is a terrible disease. My dear, I can employ you and put you on payroll, and a better one at that. Another time, some other cashier, this time a male, still asked same dumb question cash or EBT....hello for once be polite and ask card or cash. Why must it always be EBT? Does it mean having a debit card is out of question? I still played calm and payed for my items. After I checked out and left, when they saw the SUV I was on loading my stuff into, they ran out to apologize with a bottle of cheap sparkling wine. . I don suffer, chaiiii. You cant buy me with a cheap bottle of sparkling wine. Learn to treat everyone with respect and dignity, irrespective of their status in life. Dont play double standard. Life is simple. Dont look down on people. Come to think of the fact that all they play is gospel music? What an irony. Im greatly disappointed. Ill take my business Elsewhere. ”
“ I hardly give bad reviews because as a business person myself, I understand that it takes a lot to run a business. This place is unarguably a good place to shop for African food but the manager needs an attitude check. Its like he is always looking for an excuse to be rude. I avoid him anytime I go there because my husband had given me a hint but today he was openly rude to me for no reason. I had unpacked everything I got and ran the bell for someone to come check me out. He came out from the back door with a face, ignored my greeting and next thing he said why did you unpack everything? and I replied where should I have kept them and he didnt say nothing. People also need to be watchful because he is always double scanning an item. I simply do not recommend this place. Update I am excited to say that my recent experience in this place has been a complete turnaround and deserve recognition. The management took the feedback seriously and made significant changes. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Keep the good work ”
